PA12 Elastomer (PEBA – Polyether Block Amide) is a thermoplastic elastomer combining PA12 hard blocks with polyether soft blocks for excellent elasticity and low-temperature flexibility.
Description
PEBA (Polyether Block Amide) is a block copolymer with rigid PA12 segments and flexible polyether segments (PEO, PTMO or PPO). The result is a lightweight, elastic material with low density, outstanding energy return, low hysteresis and excellent chemical resistance.
Applications
PA12 Elastomer is used in high-performance sports footwear, ski boots, medical catheters, pneumatic tubing and flexible films.
