PSU (Polysulfone) is an amorphous high-performance thermoplastic with excellent hydrolytic stability, broad chemical resistance and a service temperature up to 160°C.

Description

PSU (Polysulfone) was the first commercial polysulfone resin. Tg ~185°C, excellent resistance to acids, alkalis and aqueous solutions. Inherently flame-retardant (UL94 V-0 without additives). Transparent amber colour. Easy to process by injection moulding and extrusion.

Applications

PSU is used in water filtration membranes, food service equipment, medical devices, electrical connectors and chemical process equipment.
